TSC Salary scale 2022
Primary Teacher Education (PTE) teachers currently working in secondary schools are being sent there by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
Nairobi County received five letters of deployment, Nakuru County received two, and Kilifi, Kiambu, Makueni, Embu, and Kajiado Counties each received three.
This year, TSC chose to deploy the PTE teachers based on a developed merit list from prior applicants rather than advertising the deployment positions.
In 2019, 2020, and the previous year, it has advertised for 1,000 deployment roles.
For elementary school teachers who have advanced their education, TSC employs deployment as a means of promotion.
Only instructors with degrees in secondary education are employed; those with diplomas and degrees in primary education or ECDE are not.
