Class seven child in kajiado reports the mother to police for having killed her younger sibling and dumped the body in the bucket in their house.
The mother is known as a quiet and reserved woman who rarely mingles with other women from the area
According to the girl’s account to the police, her mother killed the baby and put its body in a plastic container that was then filled with water and placed beneath the girl’s bed.
She explained to police officials that she had been unable to dwell in her home because of the unpleasant odor coming from the infant’s decomposing body.
The infant’s deteriorating body was found in a pail of water under the bed on Saturday when a group of Kajiado police officers went to the crime scene.
According to the police, the mom is thought to have choked the child to death. The suspect will be transported to the hospital for a general medical examination and psychiatric evaluation.
The infant’s body has been taken to the mortuary at Kajiado Referral Hospital.
The suspect was characterized by neighbors as an introvert who was rarely seen in the estate during the day.
A neighbor observed, “She seldom ever interacts freely with neighbors; we don’t know much about her but we know she lives with her daughter.”
The act was regrettable, according to Kajiado Central Police Commander Daudi Loronyokwe, who also stated that they are looking into the killing’s intentions.
