Bachelor of Agricultural education and extension.
Since TSC introduced the changes in minimum subject entry to education science was introduced many students who wanted to pursue education has dwindled so much because, this is because to balance the scores in all subjects required may at times become difficult.
The easiest you can pursue education science is by first pursuing Bachelor of agriculture education and extension and then register with TSC,get a certificate of registration to practice teaching in kenya by doing so you will have become a Biology and Agriculture teacher by evading the other subjects bottlenecks.
For instance by pursuing this course you will have the advantage of escaping English requirement of a C plain because in this course they consider either English or Kiswahili for minimum subject qualification as opposed to Bachelor of education science where they only consider English without considering Kiswahili.
However other requirements remain in force such as having a minimum general grade of C+and above at KCSE and a minimum of C+ and above in the two teaching subjects.
The candidate should also have studied a minimum of 8 units in each subject and above for the two teaching subjects i.e Agriculture and Biology.
The candidate should have also studied teaching methodologies before proceeding to internship/ teaching practice for the two teaching subjects.
