The National Assembly Clerk Serah Kioko has made public the schedule outlining when the Committee on Appointments will review the nominees for Cabinet Secretary (CS).
Moses Wetangula, speaker of the national assembly, serves as the committee’s chairman. Other members include Nelson Koech, from Belgut, Rahab Mukami, from Nyeri, Dido Ali Raso, from Saku, George Murugara, from Tharaka, David Gikaria, from Nakuru East, Ferdinand Wanyonyi, from Kwanza, Mary Emaase, from Teso South, Abdul Rahim Dawood, from North Imenti, Junet (Likoni).
On Monday, October 17 at 9am, the candidate for Chief Cabinet Secretary, Musalia Mudavadi, will be the first to be examined.
At 2:30 pm on Saturday, October 22, Mercy Wanjau, who is being considered for the job of Secretary to the Cabinet, will be the final person to appear before the Committee on Appointments.
The Nairobi Parliament Buildings will host the vetting.
